Meet Lori

From the time I was a little girl I had an entrepreneurial spirit. My parents always remembered the time I turned their garage into a Floral Craft Sale and called it “Bringing the Country to The City” They were amazed with the number of people that attended the sale. After attending the University of Western Ontario I embarked on a career as a visual merchandiser for the head office of a couple of prominent Canadian women’s fashion retailers and after marrying my husband Mike decided that my dream was to develop a wedding and special event décor business. Hollywood Weddings Inc. was established in 1997 on a part time basis and slowly grew. After Mike’s passing in 2015 I decided to continue on with the business and our youngest daughter Steffi developed our floral brand SA and it has quickly become very recognized.
When I am not designing weddings or events I can be found loving our 2 rescue Shar Peis, cooking , watching a great movie or show on Netflix, thrifting, dreaming about my new place in Arizona or designing my Ebay store which will launch in the next year!
Meet Steffi
I grew up immersed in the wedding and special event industry. As a teenager, I took on a more elevated role with Hollywood Weddings, but as I grew up I wanted to establish a different area of the family business. I wanted something that combined my love of design with my love of plant and floral life. Floral design seemed like a true calling, and a career that really spoke to me. After attending the Canadian Institute of Floral Design in 2015, I received my full accreditation and began working for myself under the personal brand of Stephanie Anastasia. I have slowly started to build my business over the last three years. I take pride in working intimately with all of my clients. It is my goal to create a floral design palette that truly reflects who they are personally. I strongly believe in education as a base for my design work, and make it my goal to constantly be taking workshops and additional courses with top designers to improve my skills and abilities as a florist. I absolutely love to learn! When I’m not designing in my studio you can find me tending to my many houseplants and gardening.
